Job Purpose

To drive Halfords for Business sales, net profit and client satisfaction and retention through implementation, fulfilment and operational support for the Sales & Business Development Manager, spanning Bulk Product sales, fulfilment, tendering and insurance replacement offer at Halfords.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on supporting the Sales & Business Assistant Manager in fulfilment and implementation of new and existing sales opportunities at Halfords across the below areas:

  1. Insurance Replacement Services & Administration
  2. Bulk Product Sales & Fulfilment
  3. Bulk Product Campaigns Development
  4. Tenders

The role holder will primarily support develop and administrate our growing Insurance Replacement Services proposition, working with both colleagues at Halfords and Wheelies Group business.

In addition, the role holder will support in the negotiation of commercial terms to maximise sales and margin, support the management of an existing client portfolio, drive growth through innovative marketing activity as well as the manage internal stakeholders.

Key Skills/Experience

  • The role holder will operate at a junior level with prospective clients
  • Requires strong influencing and negotiation skills in addition to strong commercial acumen, communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of working within a B2B environment is preferable.
