We're looking for a CRM Technical Manager to lead the CRM technical capabilities for Halfords across all channels. Working closely with the CRM Manager, plan, build and execute first-class campaigns using marketing automation, based on customer insight and ROI. A major focus will be scaling up new email trigger journeys and lifecycle campaigns.
Key Responsibilities • Working closely with the CRM Manager and based on customer insight and ROI, map key customer campaigns across all channels. • Build customer audiences using Apteco FastStats. Use segmentation techniques to select audiences to target emails to the right customers. • Build out campaigns and customer journeys using our campaign management tool – Apteco PeopleStage. • Execute email specific campaigns using Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite. • Ensure email deliverability is optimized and ensure email best practice is in place. • Carry out multi-variant testing across all activity. • Plan, build and implement dynamic content. • Carry out competitor reviews to establish best in class email & CRM activity. • Assist in the development of the CRM overall plan. • Analyse results from email marketing campaigns to improve key performance metrics (deliverability, open rate, click through rate, sales). • Become a super-user on all Halfords CRM systems. • Engage with internal stakeholders including retail operations and digital to influence CRM in store and online. Key Skills/Experience • Degree educated with a numerate background and a keen interest in data • Excellent attention to detail • Articulate and confident communicator • Good presentation skills, comfortable delivering technical content to non-technical audiences • Driven by creating successful marketing campaigns that deliver demonstrable ROI • Knowledge of best practice in email marketing and campaign automation • An inquisitive nature, looking to challenge the status quo • Strong organisation skills. • Confidence and assertiveness when dealing with a variety of external agencies and internal stakeholders at different levels. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Previous experience in a similar role desirable. • Experience working with ESPs, Campaign Management Tools & Data Selection Tools. • Experience working with Apteco FastStats and PeopleStage an advantage.
