As our Customer Analytics Manager you'll support the customer analytics team with customer reporting and the transition of customer reports into a Power BI dashboard.

This is a fixed term contract for up to 9 months. 

  • The core element of this role is the ability to translate data into simple visual reports that enable end users to understand key trends and implications. This will be initially in excel based reports but transitioning to use Power BI as the data visualisation tool.
  • The role will be expected to:
  • Lead delivery of customer reports, automating and running reports but also summarising the insights and so-what to non technical business stakeholders
  • Guide and support the business in the implementation of automated Power BI reporting – advising on best practice to ensure the reports are set up in the right way for business users
  • Automate existing reporting and streamline processes to minimise time creating data/reports across the customer analytics team
  • As part of the role there would be a requirement to develop and implement a data literacy and training approach which empowers and upskills the wider analytics team to adopt Power BI

Your experience

  • Excellent analytical skills – demonstrable success in delivering detailed yet concise actionable insight in a fast paced environment
  • Strong technical skills including data extraction, data modelling, web analytics and data visualisations
  • Track record of distilling complex information into compelling visualisations and actions
  • Ability to manage multiple partners and requests, prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to upskill team members and drive team performance

Your skills and qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent in a science or quantitative subject
  • 5+ years’ analytics experience
  • 5+ years’ experience of modelling, data management, information systems and related software (e.g. R, Python, SAS, SQL)
  • 5+ years experience visualising and automating data
  • Expert user of Microsoft Power BI
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to confidently present insight to non technical audiences
  • Good attention to detail and takes responsibility for the accuracy of their work

  • Productive team member, collaborating effectively with all teams and at all levels of the organisation
  • An evangelist for customer and our relationships with them, obsessed about delivering the right message at the right time and with the right content

This is a fixed term contract for up to 9 months. 

Please note  - this role can be based remotely, however some travel will be required at times.
